Launch of the Canal Walk Medical, Wellness and Clinical Trial Centre events
The Numolux Group, in partnership with Dr MS Ismail celebrated the much-awaited opening of the Medical Wellness and Clinical Trial Centre on 21 October 2022. Guests who attended this important occasion included esteemed Professor Allan Boesak, Mr Colin Daries (Western Cape Business Opportunity Forum), academics from the University of the Western Cape, representatives from pharmaceutical companies, and local businesses.
The Canal Walk Medical, Wellness and Clinical Trial Centre, located in the Western Cape, South Africa, is well-positioned to conduct clinical trials in a region where there is a high burden of HIV, Tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes. Clinical trials conducted at this site will make a significant contribution to the treatment, management, and prevention of these diseases, ultimately improving patient care in the surrounding communities
